I discovered this link to a spreadsheet someone’s been keeping with Publix’s penny item every week; if the historical pattern continues, then tomorrow’s item will be coffee.
What exactually is the Publix Penny Item. Please explain
Publix supermarkets in the Atlanta area (maybe other places, too, but excluding those in Florida) have a special deal on Sundays and Mondays called the “mystery item” or “penny item.” The coupon is in the Sunday edition of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. It’s a different item each week — like a 16-0z jar of peanut butter, for instance — that you pay a penny plus the tax on the original item. In order to get this you have to buy $10 worth of stuff and have the coupon, and it’s one per person per coupon.
