Recently, some friends and I were on the topic of sustainable replacements for common disposable items, such as toilet paper, napkins, feminine products, etc. I’ll probably bring this topic up for a fuller discussion later, but for now I’d like to share two links I came across this week on that topic:
1) Handkerchiefs at Frugal Granola – I just happen to have some of my grandma’s beautiful, old hankies!
2) Baby items you don’t really need at Simple Mom – I have a lot of these things because they were given to me, but I agree — most are not essential!
